As I look ahead to this summer, I am not sure what to think. I have always known I wanted to go back but I am a little worried about how I will compare this summer to the last. I mean I know I will still love camp but I am worried I will try and make too many comparisons between the two staffs. Kind of sad that is what I am currently stressed out about. But its completely true. Since a lot of the staff members also go to Luther, it has been interesting hearing what people are talking about doing this summer. Many of these old staff members do not want to go back to camp but are keeping it as an option. This worries me because I don't know what will happen if they are forced to work there. Will it affect our cohesiveness as a group? But I can't worry about that now because I still don't know if I have the job or not!
So life at Luther right now is pretty calm which is a nice change from earlier this week. This weekend will be long especially since I am subbing for someone at work so that means a total of 7 hours for the weekend :( But at least it forces me to do my homework. This weekend will also be spent planning Coke Floats aka APO recruitment nights which I am responsible for as a pledge trainer. I am really excited to meet the pledges and get meetings going and get into a rhythm as a pledge trainer. I think Rachel and I are going to hang out tonight with some of the other camp people but who knows!!
